Fuel Economy - What do you get out of a tank? (3rd gens only)

Something wrong with your car then my man. I constantly get 650+kms to a tank with a mix of city and highway/urban. Average speed of around 55km/h, 10.3L/100km.

Agree. My long term average is 10.389 combined, and that's with 83 tanks worth of data recorded over the last 18 months.

the car has been the same since the day i bought it 8 years ago mitsubishi tuned it several times and told me that is good millage out of this car ok i do have a heavy foot but i had a v8 commodore before this car and got better millage out of it.On a long trip open country road i get 600kms out of a tank with air con on and at least 3 adults and boot full of stuff. i do alot of long trips in the car and the more i do it the more it seems to be getting better.run platnium spark plugs always serviced every 5000kms. my aunty has the second gen 2.6 litre auto executive and only gets 320 per tank around town she drive so slow its not funny and never gets any better then this full recon motor and box even on long trip 2 adults air con on only got 450kms out of a tank. my parents have a third gen 2.4litre and get 600kms everday around town and almost 800kms on a long trip . mate has exactly the same car as mine 3litre v6 altera auto and only get 380 per tank and drives like grandad so each car is different and some chew the fuel others are great. I know from having my magna so long it doesnt matter how you drive it you get the same usage regardless
